1972

In the spring of 1972, William H. Yates II founded Yates Industries Incorporated, a distributor of fluid power products and a repair facility for the fluid power industry. In early 1975, the Yates Cylinder Division was created to provide heavy-duty N.F.P.A cylinders to our local customers, and by the late 1970’s, our cylinder line expanded to include medium-duty hydraulic and steel pneumatic products.
